Davis Chatfield Shoots Historic 59 at Compliance Solutions Championship
OWASSO, Okla. – Davis Chatfield starred in a memorable performance at the Compliance Solutions Championship, achieving an impressive 59. The American golfer sealed his round with an albatross on the 15th hole, a par 5, and finished with a 30-foot birdie putt.
Chatfield, 26, completed the last five holes of The Patriot Golf Club with an extraordinary performance of 6 under par.
This achievement makes Chatfield the third player this year to achieve a sub-60 round on the Korn Ferry Tour.
This year, other golfers like Myles Creighton and Adrien Dumont de Chassart also shot a 59 at the Wichita Open.
In total, this is the eighth 59 recorded in the world of golf so far this year.
Chatfield positions himself with a two-stroke lead over Dumont de Chassart, Zecheng Dou, and Travis Trace.
