Tony Stewart Conquers Las Vegas with His First Top Fuel Victory

At 53 years old, Stewart demonstrated his skill behind the wheel, completing the race in an impressive time of 3.870 seconds and reaching a speed of 317.42 mph at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In the final, Stewart beat Antron Brown, Justin Ashley, and Jasmine Salinas, securing his place in history.
“One appreciates this achievement much more when you have had to work so hard,” stated Stewart, who previously won NASCAR Cup Series championships in 2002 and 2005.

Stewart did not hesitate to praise his team, acknowledging the hard work and dedication that made this victory possible. “All the credit goes to this team. I am very proud of my guys. We have great partners and an incredible team. I feel like my body will hurt a lot tomorrow, but it will definitely be worth it,” added the driver.
In other competition categories, Austin Prock took first place in Funny Car and Dallas Glenn dominated in Pro Stock.
