Wyatt Kaiser Signs Contract with the Blackhawks

Defenseman Wyatt Kaiser has agreed to a two-year, $3.4 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. This agreement allows Kaiser to participate in team practices at the start of training camp.

The official announcement was made on Wednesday night, just before the team began its practices on Thursday.

Kaiser, 23, achieved personal records last season, with four goals, 93 blocked shots, and 54 hits in 57 games. He also recorded four assists.

The player was selected by the Blackhawks in the third round of the 2020 draft and made his NHL debut with the team in March 2023.

The first goal of his career was scored on January 5 against the New York Rangers. In total, Kaiser has four goals and 14 assists in 98 games played.
