San Francisco de Macorís – The Gigantes del Cibao have confirmed the incorporation of starting pitcher Jake Faria as a reinforcement for the upcoming season of the Dominican Professional Winter Baseball League (LIDOM). Faria, a 32-year-old American, arrives with a distinguished record in professional baseball. The player has five seasons of experience in the Major Leagues, where he defended the colors of the Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox. In his most recent participation, Faria played in the Mexican Baseball League with the Guerreros de Oaxaca, accumulating experience in international circuits, with a record of 3-4 in 13 starts.Management Statements
