Jaylon Johnson, Bears Cornerback, Out with Injury

Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson is out indefinitely due to a groin injury, according to sources close to the team.

Johnson had to leave the game against the Detroit Lions in the second quarter of the match, after suffering the injury while trying to deflect a pass.

It should be noted that Johnson had already been absent throughout training camp, the preseason, and the first game of the regular season due to a similar groin problem. He returned to play, but the injury worsened on Sunday.

The Bears team is assessing the full extent of the injury and whether surgery will be necessary. Once this data is available, an estimated recovery time for Johnson can be determined.
