John Cena Headlines WWE Event in Indianapolis
The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s streaming platform. Cena will be accompanied by prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s first Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion, Rollins, world heavyweight champion, and Lynch, intercontinental women’s champion, will also be part of this event. In addition, it will mark Cena’s last wrestling appearance in Indianapolis. This inaugural event is part of the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s streaming platform will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all Premium Live WWE events as part of their package.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available Thursday.
