In a day full of emotions and unexpected twists, the Davis Cup gave us memorable matches. Spain, without its main figure Carlos Alcaraz, starred in an epic comeback against Denmark to advance to the Final 8.

Spain Comeback and Advances

Martinez also saved a match point in the first singles, achieving a crucial victory over Holger Rune. Pablo Carreno Busta completed the comeback, securing the victory for Spain with a final score of 3-2.

Spain demonstrated its ability to react by coming back from a 2-0 deficit, something it had never achieved in its history.

Australia fails to achieve the feat

On the other hand, Australia could not replicate the feat. Despite a reaction that tied the score at 2-2, the Australian team fell to Belgium. Alex de Minaur forced a fifth match, but Raphael Collignon sealed the Belgian victory.
