Eagles attempted to sign Micah Parsons

Sources from the league revealed to Alofoke Deportes that the Philadelphia Eagles made a significant effort to acquire Micah Parsons this summer. The Eagles contacted the Dallas Cowboys with the intention of negotiating for Parsons, but the Cowboys showed no interest in trading the two-time All-Pro, especially to a divisional rival like the Eagles. After months of failed negotiations for a long-term contract, the Cowboys finally traded Parsons to the Green Bay Packers last week. The Packers proceeded to sign the four-time Pro Bowler to a record four-year, $188 million deal. The Eagles, current Super Bowl champions, will host the Cowboys in the opening game of the NFL regular season on Thursday night.
