The 19-year-old driver, with seven victories in NASCAR’s Xfinity series, has secured a Cup Series seat for 2026. The announcement, although expected, generated great excitement at the Daytona International Speedway.

A Multi-Year Agreement with Trackhouse Racing

Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse Racing, confirmed the signing of a multi-year contract with Zilisch to compete full-time next year. Zilisch will take Daniel Suárez’s place in a Chevrolet yet to be numbered, joining Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen in Marks’ three-car team.

Currently, Zilisch leads the Xfinity series standings, solidifying his position as a motorsport prospect. The announcement comes after a recovery period for a broken collarbone suffered in a recent accident. Despite the injury, Zilisch demonstrated his commitment by competing at Daytona.
