The absence of Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones, who were unable to participate in the game, forced Breanna Stewart, Emma Meesseman, and Marine Johannes to take on leading roles. These players led the Liberty to a resounding victory that solidifies their position in fifth place in the standings, as the WNBA regular season approaches its final phase. Ionescu suffered a left toe injury during Wednesday’s training, while Jones felt ill on Thursday morning, being added late to the injury report.
