The Toronto Blue Jays have secured the services of versatile player Isiah Kiner-Falefa, claiming him from the Pittsburgh Pirates’ waiver list this Sunday.
Kiner-Falefa, recognized for his ability to play multiple positions, including shortstop, third base and outfield, returns to the Blue Jays after being traded to the Pirates on July 30th.
During the 2024 season, 30-year-old Kiner-Falefa has proven his worth with a batting average of .264, one home run, 34 RBIs, 40 runs scored, and 15 stolen bases in 119 games.
Additionally, the Pirates announced the return of outfielder Ryan Kreidler from Triple-A Indianapolis.
