Fundora vs. Thurman: Clash of Titans in Las Vegas

Sebastian Fundora will put his WBC super welterweight world championship on the line against Keith Thurman on October 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight promises to be a main event full of action.

The Fundora-Thurman fight will be the main event of “PBC on Prime”. In the co-main event, O’Shaquie Foster will defend his WBC super lightweight title against former super bantamweight champion and current WBC featherweight champion Stephen Fulton.

The championship fight between Fundora and Thurman was confirmed. Las Vegas will be the stage where Thurman will seek to become a two-division world champion, the same city where Fundora replaced the injured Thurman and defeated Tim Tszyu to obtain the WBC title at 154 pounds.

Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs), 27, successfully defended his title against Tim Tszyu in July, winning by technical knockout in the seventh round. This will be his third title defense.

Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs), 36, has struggled to stay healthy and has only fought twice since losing by decision to Pacquiao in 2019. In his only fight at 154 pounds earlier this year, Thurman knocked out Brock Jarvis.

Foster (23-3, 13 KOs) will defend his title against Fulton. Foster, 31, will have the opportunity to defend his title in a different pay-per-view event against an opponent seeking a third world championship in three different weight classes.

Fulton (23-1, 8 KOs) will move up another weight class after defeating Brandon Figueroa by unanimous decision to obtain the WBC featherweight title in February. Fulton was a unified super bantamweight champion until he suffered his only loss to Naoya Inoue in July 2023. The WBC will allow Fulton to keep his featherweight title while challenging Foster for the WBC championship.

Also on the card will be a bout between Jesus Ramos (22-1, 18 KOs) and Shane Mosley Jr. (22-4, 12 KOs) for the WBC interim middleweight title, and former super welterweight champion Tony Harrison (30-4-1, 21 KOs) will face the undefeated Isaac Lucero (17-0, 13 KOs) at 160 pounds.
