Tyreek Hill ready for the season start with the Dolphins
Miami Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice and is on track to play in the regular season opener against the Indianapolis Colts, according to coach Mike McDaniel. Hill has been absent from practice for the last three weeks due to an oblique injury, but the team has taken precautions to avoid setbacks.Despite the good news about Hill, the Dolphins will not have running back Jaylen Wright in the short term. McDaniel explained that the second-year player underwent a “minor procedure” due to a lower leg injury. Although the injury is not expected to end his season, it could sideline him for the first month. In the Dolphins’ initial 53-player roster, Ollie Gordon II was the only healthy running back available. De’Von Achane, the starting running back, is recovering from a calf injury, although he is expected to play in Week 1. The team has also signed running backs Jeff Wilson Jr. and JaMycal Hasty as a precautionary measure. In Thursday’s training, the return of safety Ashtyn Davis also occurred, who had been absent for the last three weeks due to a lower leg injury.“It looks great”
