Summer Baseball League All-Star Game: A Success in Puerto Plata
The Summer National Baseball League (LNBV) All-Star Game became a memorable event for Dominican sports. The event, held on Saturday, August 23 at the José Briceño stadium in Puerto Plata, brought together the most outstanding figures of summer baseball, offering a day full of excitement and talent.

The afternoon began with the Home Run Derby, where the home run leaders from the league’s six teams competed for the title. Luis González, from the Reales de Santiago and a member of the Patria team, won the final, surpassing Junior Sanquintín, from the Granjeros de Moca and representing the Libertad team.
González was awarded RD$ 30,000 for his outstanding performance.Team Libertad Wins All-Star Game
The highlight of the day, the All-Star Game, saw Team Libertad, composed of the Granjeros de Moca, Bravos de La Vega and Mineros de Bonao, defeat Team Patria, made up of the Reales de Santiago, Arroceros de San Francisco de Macorís and Atléticos de Puerto Plata, with a score of 7-0.Honors and Launch Acknowledgements
The opening ceremony featured a special recognition of the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista, for his contribution to the development of the season and the organization of the event. Daury Arias, from the Moca Farmers, was awarded Most Valuable Player thanks to his outstanding performance, which included a three-run home run and a walk. Arias also received a prize of RD$ 30,000.
