Ja’Lynn Polk to undergo shoulder surgery
New England Patriots wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk will undergo shoulder surgery that could affect his 2025 season, according to sources.
The length of Polk’s absence will depend on the findings of the surgery, although there is no estimated return date.
The injury occurred in the Patriots’ first preseason game on August 8, when Polk was tackled after a one-yard run.
The Patriots selected Polk in the second round of the 2024 draft.
In his rookie season, Polk had 12 receptions for 87 yards.
Polk had been working primarily with the reserves before the injury in the preseason game.
