Allison Howard to Assume Presidency of Cleveland WNBA Team

The new WNBA team in Cleveland has named Allison Howard as its president, according to the franchise’s announcement this Tuesday. Howard will maintain her current position as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Rock Entertainment Group and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In this role, she oversees revenue and corporate and ticket sales strategy, corporate partnerships, membership sales and service, venue experience, ticket operations, and youth sports programming. Will continue in this role until the end of the next NBA season, while initiating and activating operations for the Cleveland WNBA team. The franchise will begin playing in 2028.

Her experience, along with her work ethic, will ignite the connection with team members, fans, and partners throughout our community,” said Nic Barlage, CEO of Rock Entertainment Group, Cleveland Cavaliers and Rocket Arena.

As team president, Howard will oversee all aspects of the franchise’s business operations. This includes the development of culture and team members, community involvement, the fan experience, and the organization’s business operations.
