This Thursday marks the start of the exciting PGA Tour playoffs with the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee. This tournament kicks off three consecutive competitions that will determine the FedEx Cup champion. The elite of the world’s golf will meet at TPC Southwind, with almost all of the top 70 players in the season’s points standings seeking to dethrone the world’s number 1, Scottie Scheffler. Scheffler, who has already secured his place in golf history, will seek to become the first player to win the FedEx Cup consecutively at the Tour Championship to be held in Atlanta from August 21 to 24.Scheffler, despite a season start marked by a hand injury, has demonstrated his worth with four victories, including important triumphs in the PGA Championship and The Open.It’s the time of year when everyone, obviously, wants to reach their best level and play their best.

The BMW Championship will be held from August 14th to 17th at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland, with a prize purse of $20 million. The top 50 golfers in the points standings after the FedEx St. Jude Championship will advance to this second stage of the playoffs.
