According to the police report, McMahon was driving northbound when he rear-ended a BMW and then crashed into a wooden barrier. A vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes struck debris from the accident that flew over the barrier. At the time of the accident, there were no passengers in any of the vehicles, and all three drivers were wearing seatbelts. McMahon’s car airbags deployed, while Doran’s BMW’s did not.

Barbara Doran, one of the people involved in the accident, recounted how the impact knocked her off the road. “I was driving in the right lane and suddenly, boom. I was hit from behind and catapulted forward,” she expressed. Doran also commented that a state police officer informed her that the other driver was McMahon. McMahon, who resigned as WWE CEO in 2022 and then as executive chairman of the TKO Group Holdings board of directors, WWE’s parent company, was embroiled in allegations of sexual misconduct, which he denies. McMahon transformed the World Wrestling Federation, which he bought in 1982, into a global phenomenon. In addition to running the company with his wife, Linda, he also participated in WWE events.
