Lando Norris Sets the Pace in Hungarian Grand Prix Practice

Lando Norris, driving his McLaren, led the first practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix, surpassing his teammate, Oscar Piastri.

Norris set a time of 1:16.052, ahead of Piastri by just 0.019 seconds. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was in third position, two tenths of a second behind the leader.

Isack Hadjar, in a Racing Bulls, achieved the fourth-best time, followed by Lewis Hamilton in fifth place. Hamilton expressed his complaints about the performance of his Ferrari, stating that “it doesn’t feel right.” Max Verstappen was in ninth position.

Fernando Alonso did not participate in the session due to a back injury, being replaced by Aston Martin’s reserve driver, Felipe Drugovich.
