Lions Reveal Lineup for Decisive Third Test Against Australia

British and Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has made two changes to his starting lineup for the third and final test against Australia. The match will be played in Sydney and will determine whether the tourists achieve a 3-0 sweep. Second-row Ireland’s James Ryan joins captain Maro Itoje in the second row at the Accor Stadium this Saturday. In addition, Scotland’s Blair Kinghorn replaces Mack Hansen on the left wing.

“We have put ourselves in a great position to finish this tour with our best performance to date and create our own history,” commented Farrell.

Farrell also highlighted the excitement of the last match and the importance of the series for the players and fans. Chessum moves to the bench, and Ben Earl comes in as cover in the third row alongside Jac Morgan. Farrell opted for a 6-2 split in favor of the forwards, anticipating a match in the rain. The third starting line and the midfield pairing remain unchanged for the third consecutive match. Irish prop Tadhg Furlong will play his ninth consecutive test with the Lions.
