Hole-in-one at the Open Championship!
The Open Championship at Royal Portrush already has its first hole-in-one, made by English golfer John Parry. Parry’s tee shot on the 13th hole, 192 yards, landed on the front of the green, took a couple of bounces and went straight into the cup. There were great celebrations on the tee, with Parry being congratulated by his playing partner, Justin Leonard, 1997 Open champion.Post title: A post shared by The Open (@theopen)
The hole-in-one brought Parry to 4 under par for his round and 3 under par for the tournament. This is Parry’s second appearance, aged 38, at the Open, after St. Andrews in 2022.
