Investigations into the assault on Kenny Grullón’s residence advance
The National Police have confirmed that the investigations regarding the assault perpetrated against the Dominican actor and comedian Kenny Grullón are at an advanced stage. The incident, which occurred last Friday, mobilized the authorities immediately after receiving notification of the event at the artist’s home.
Diego Pesqueira, spokesperson for the law enforcement institution, reported that a specialized team, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, arrived at the scene to carry out the necessary procedures and collect evidence to clarify the incident. According to the authorities, direct contact is being maintained with the affected party to follow up on the investigative process.

According to preliminary reports, the assailant entered the property on Friday morning. The individual, who was allegedly carrying a bladed weapon, managed to subdue the comedian by tying his hands. The theft of a cell phone and Grullón’s wedding ring has been confirmed, although authorities are awaiting a formal complaint to specify all the stolen items.
Javier Grullón, the artist’s son, confirmed that other family members were in the property at the time of the assault, assuring that, despite the traumatic episode, everyone is safe. The home’s security system captured images of the suspect, who, according to police information available so far, acted alone.
