Cal Raleigh Conquers the Home Run Derby 2025
In a historic night for baseball, Cal Raleigh, catcher for the Seattle Mariners, won the title of the 2025 Home Run Derby. The competition, full of spectacular hits and memorable moments, saw Raleigh defeat Dominican Junior Caminero in the final. Raleigh demonstrated his power by connecting 18 home runs against Caminero’s 15, securing the victory and a place in sports history. The Mariners’ catcher not only won the trophy, but also became the first catcher in history to win the Home Run Derby.The competition was marked by the impressive total distance of the home runs. Raleigh led the table with an astonishing distance of 4.39 miles in their hits. Junior Caminero, for his part, demonstrated his talent with 3.63 miles of home runs, consolidating himself as one of the promises of baseball.With his victory, Raleigh joins the legend Ken Griffey Jr. as the only Mariners players to win this title.
