Investigations into the attack on Julián Oro Duro and his wife are progressing
The National Police have provided new details regarding the investigative process related to the recent attack perpetrated against merengue artist Julián Oro Duro and his wife, Zeneida Socorro Castillo. According to the authorities, the suspects allegedly attempted to dispose of items stolen from the residence after committing the crime.
The spokesperson for the law enforcement institution, Colonel Diego Pesqueira, reported that, following the investigations, a bag belonging to the artist was recovered. According to the reconstruction of the events, said object was thrown by those involved from the Santo Domingo Este beltway, in the vicinity of the San Luis toll booth, a point that was identified and tracked by the investigators.
Key evidence recovered by the authorities
In addition to the package, the authorities managed to seize a key to a vehicle owned by the merengue artist and various items of clothing. These items were obtained thanks to a series of raids carried out by agents of the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM) in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
