SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Nev. – Former NHL player Joe Pavelski birdied the final three holes on Saturday, sharing the lead of the second round with former soccer player Taylor Twellman at the American Century Championship, held at Edgewood Tahoe. Pavelski, who led the first round and finished in second place last year, tied with Twellman at 44 points, using the modified Stableford scoring system. Twellman had a round of 23 points.

Obviously, Twellman has been playing great. Finishing with birdie, birdie, birdie and being tied with him, I accept it all day.
