The Genesis Scottish Open: A Must-See Golf Tournament
This week, the PGA Tour moves to The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, for the Genesis Scottish Open. Scottish golfer Robert MacIntyre will seek to defend his 2024 title at his home tournament.
MacIntyre will compete against a star-studded field, including the top five players in the world. In the 2023 edition, MacIntyre achieved a dramatic victory by sinking a 22-foot putt for birdie on the final hole, surpassing Adam Scott. With this victory, he became the first Scot to win the tournament in 25 years.
There will be a total purse of $9 million at stake, with $1.5 million and 500 FedEx Cup points for the winner.
