Desperate call: Terminal breast cancer patient requests urgent support for her treatment

The health of Noelia, a patient diagnosed with terminal breast cancer with pulmonary metastasis and a history of lupus in remission, has reached a critical point. Faced with the lack of coverage from her health insurance for catastrophic illnesses, the patient has made a moving appeal to society and health authorities, requesting assistance to continue her fight for life.

Currently, Noelia is awaiting a response from the Ministry of Public Health’s High-Cost Medication Program. The aggressiveness of her disease has caused the tumors to spread, forcing the medical committee to recommend a combined regimen of chemotherapy and specialized hormone therapy. However, the high cost of these drugs, which must be administered every three weeks, exceeds her family’s financial means.

Every ticket purchased is a chance for me to live; we are practically against the clock because the cancer is very advanced. Since the cancer cannot wait for them to give me an answer, I know that God will work and that they are working on my case.

Noelia, affected patient.

Solidarity actions underway

Given the urgency of starting the treatment, their family and friends have launched various initiatives to raise the necessary funds. Among the actions are:

  • Organization of fundraisers through digital platforms.
  • Holding a charity raffle to cover recurring medical expenses.

The family reiterates its request for help from both government institutions and the general public, emphasizing that, due to the severity of the diagnosis, time is a determining factor in preserving their health.
