Rodolfo Santos highlights Luis Abinader’s municipal management and delivery of new trucks
Communicator Rodolfo Santos has highlighted the administration of President Luis Abinader, describing him as a firm promoter of municipal strengthening. According to Santos, the current Government has demonstrated a real commitment to local governments through concrete actions that directly impact the quality of life of citizens.
One of the key points highlighted by the communicator is the recent acquisition of 100 garbage collection trucks. Of this fleet, 50 units have already been distributed to various municipalities in the country, prioritizing those districts with the greatest needs and limited budgets that prevented them from making investments of this magnitude.
Impact on municipal operations
Santos positively valued the purchasing process led by Andrés Bautista García, noting that, beyond any criticism, the tangible benefit for the communities is undeniable. The incorporation of these vehicles allows for the optimization of solid waste collection, an essential service for health and order in the localities.
The delivery of this equipment strengthens the operational capacity of the municipalities and significantly improves the provision of basic services, demonstrating a management approach that prioritizes the well-being of the population.

Public investment and local development
Santos’ analysis also addressed the democratization of the national budget, which, in his view, has been fundamental for executing long-awaited works. Among the highlighted projects are:
- Construction and paving of streets, highways, and local roads.
- Construction of bridges and primary care centers.
- Improvements to aqueducts and sewage systems.
- Interventions in ravines of Greater Santo Domingo.
Likewise, the communicator acknowledged the role of RD Vial in the maintenance and lighting of the roads, as well as the Government’s timely response to emergencies caused by atmospheric phenomena. Finally, Santos concluded that this constant support for local governments reaffirms the vision of an administration close to the people, consolidating the role of municipalities as the fundamental pillar of national development.
