Freddy Belliard 2026 Medical Operation impacts thousands in Constanza with specialized services
The Constanza community was the setting for a massive health day during the Freddy Belliard 2026 Medical Operation. This initiative, consolidated through a strategic alliance between the Constanza Rehabilitation Center and the Metropolitan Hospital of Santiago (HOMS), managed to provide a total of 2,752 free medical services, reaffirming the commitment to the well-being of the inhabitants of this area.
The medical deployment allowed for comprehensive care to be provided to citizens, with the following figures standing out:
- 1,057 consultations and specialized care in 19 medical areas.
- 376 triage evaluations.
- 159 preventive procedures.
- 1,160 medication prescriptions provided at no cost to patients.
Among the specialties that recorded the highest influx of patients are Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Otolaryngology, Pathology, Orthopedics, and Gynecology. Likewise, key preventive actions were carried out, such as the administration of 40 vaccines, 85 hepatitis screening tests, and 34 Pap smears.
Continuity and follow-up: The real value of the workday
Beyond immediate care, the operation focused on establishing follow-up routes for patients with specific health conditions. Those evaluated in areas such as Physiatry, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics will have the opportunity to continue their treatments at the Constanza Rehabilitation Center, where they will access physical, occupational, speech, and psychology therapies.
A relevant fact from this edition was the identification of five candidates for bariatric surgery, who will now begin the necessary medical protocols and evaluations to determine their eligibility for said surgical procedure.

The private sector also played a fundamental role, with the participation of multiple pharmaceutical laboratories that donated essential medicines and the support of local businesses that collaborated with the event’s logistics.
