House fire in Hatillo, Jarabacoa, leaves only material losses
A fire affected a residence in the Hatillo community, located in the municipality of Jarabacoa, La Vega province, triggering a rapid mobilization of local emergency services to prevent the situation from escalating.
Emergency services intervention
After receiving the alert about the fire, units B-04 and C-01 belonging to the Buena Vista Fire Department moved immediately to the scene of the incident. Thanks to the efficient work of the personnel, the flames were successfully controlled and extinguished, preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent structures.
Fortunately, the prompt response from the authorities allowed the incident to be limited only to material damage, with no injuries or fatalities reported to lament.
