Fernelis Guzmán denounces dispossession of assets and requests intervention from the authorities
Citizen Fernelis Guzmán has raised his voice to denounce a series of irregularities that have seriously affected his assets. According to his account, he was the victim of the theft of a truck and the illicit sale of 18 head of cattle, situations that have kept him immersed in a grueling judicial process since 2021.
The legal battle for a truck
Guzmán explains that the conflict began when he entrusted the administration of a truck to a third party while he was out of the country. The vehicle was intended to operate on a housing project located in Boca de Cachón, Independencia province. However, upon returning, he discovered that the unit had been sold without his consent.
The whistleblower maintains that their main objective is for the authorities to review the processes and determine the corresponding responsibilities in accordance with the evidence they have presented.
The affected party claims that the sale was carried out through the forgery of his signature. To support his version, he presented a handwriting analysis conducted by the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), which certified that the signatures on the transfer documents do not belong to him. Despite this evidence, Guzmán regrets that the initial judicial decisions favored the opposing party. Currently, the case is in the appeal phase before the Supreme Court of Justice.
