Bad Bunny concludes his “I should have taken more photos” tour with a historic finale in Puerto Rico
Global icon Bad Bunny put an end to his successful world tour “Debí tirar más fotos” with a memorable show at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Before thousands of fans, the Puerto Rican artist offered a musical display that masterfully fused reggaeton, salsa, plena, and trap.
Unlike their previous concert series, the closing of this tour featured a renewed structure. The evening began with a display of tropical rhythms alongside the Los Sobrinos orchestra, leaving the urban sounds and their iconic “little house” stage design for the final part of the event.
Memorable moments and stellar collaborations
The night was marked by luxury guests who raised the audience’s energy:
- Víctor Manuelle: The salsa singer joined Benito to perform “Mala y peligrosa,” a track that marked the urban artist’s foray into the salsa genre in 2017.
- Jowell y Randy: The dynamic duo lit up the stadium with the hit “Safaera,” in addition to revisiting classics like “Hey Mister” and “Salgo pa’ la Calle.”
- Rauw Alejandro: The artist joined the party to perform his collaborations “Party” and “Qué pasaría” alongside the host, closing his appearance with an emotional message of support for his homeland.
As an opening act, the group Chuwi, which accompanied the performer during much of the international tour, said goodbye to the audience with a performance that included songs such as “Tierra” and “Guerra,” closing their participation with a gesture of solidarity by carrying the flag of Palestine.
It was a night of gratitude where Bad Bunny acknowledged the unconditional support of his Puerto Rican fanbase over the last eight years of his professional career.
Surprises and the mysterious ending
For this final show, Bad Bunny included tracks that were not part of the tour’s usual repertoire: “RLNDT” and “120”. These special additions made the closing in San Juan a unique experience for the attendees.
The climax arrived with the performance of “Eoo”. At the end of the song, amidst fireworks, the artist dropped his microphone on stage, a gesture that quickly went viral and generated multiple speculations about the future of his career. However, there were no official announcements regarding a break in his trajectory.
What is confirmed is that the artist is preparing for new horizons in cinema. It is expected that in the coming months, filming will begin for the movie “Porto Rico,” a film project under the direction of René Pérez, Residente, which will take Bad Bunny to Dominican territory.
