The Football Association (FA) and the Premier League also expressed their dismay. The British Minister for Culture and Sport, Lisa Nandy, confirmed the news before the British Parliament, expressing the dismay of the House. The British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, expressed his sorrow and asked for understanding for the family and friends of the deceased. Wolverhampton Wanderers, the club where Diogo Jota played for three years, expressed their pain. Atlético de Madrid also spoke out, sending their condolences to the family and loved ones.
