Jake LaRavia Bolsters the Lakers with a Million-Dollar Contract

Free agent forward Jake LaRavia has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers for two years and 12 million dollars. The news, which has generated great expectation, was confirmed by sources close to the negotiation.

The agreement, negotiated by agents Aaron Reilly and Reggie Berry of AMR Agency, is fully guaranteed. LaRavia is expected to take a significant place in the team’s rotation, replacing Dorian Finney-Smith.

Finney-Smith, for his part, has agreed to a four-year, $53 million contract with the Houston Rockets.

LaRavia had an outstanding performance at the end of last season, after his arrival at the Sacramento Kings. The Grizzlies traded him to the Kings in a move that involved the Washington Wizards.

Before the season, Memphis declined the $5.1 million team option for the 2025-26 season, leading to his trade.

Selected at the 19th pick of the 2022 draft, LaRavia averaged 6.1 points with 38.5% in three-point shots in 19 games with the Kings.
