Claudia Sheinbaum holds strategic meeting with Goldman Sachs executives at the National Palace
The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, led a high-level meeting at the National Palace with John E. Waldron, President and Chief Operating Officer of the global financial firm Goldman Sachs. During the meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary of Finance, Edgar Amador Zamora, the country’s economic outlook and the development potential offered by the so-called Mexico Plan were analyzed.
The dialogue focused on the confidence that international markets have placed in the nation, highlighting the favorable climate for the arrival of new capital. The president shared the details of the meeting through her official channels, underscoring the relevance of maintaining fluid communication with key players in the global financial sector.
At the National Palace, I received the president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs, John E. Waldron, and his team; we discussed the favorable perception of our country in international markets and the good investment opportunities offered by the Mexico Plan.
