INEFI Recognizes Outstanding Teachers in Physical Education
SANTO DOMINGO – The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) will hold the eleventh edition of the “Medal for Teaching Merit in Physical Education 2024-2025” award gala this Wednesday. The main objective of the event is to recognize the work of the most outstanding professors in this discipline at the national level. The ceremony will take place at the Catalonia hotel in the capital and will be led by the institution’s executive director, Alberto Rodríguez Mella. During the awards ceremony, physical education teachers from the 18 school districts of the country will be honored, valuing their dedication and commitment to the development of school sports and the integral training of students. In addition, the “Maestro de Siempre” recognition will be awarded, which celebrates the career of educators with extensive experience in the Dominican education system. The activity is coordinated by the INEFI’s teaching director, Manuel Morel, who has led the evaluation and selection process of the awardees, seeking to highlight the best pedagogical practices in the area.This gala is part of the initiatives that INEFI promotes to support the training, professional growth, and performance of physical education teachers throughout the country.Recognizing the work of our teachers is recognizing the foundation of the integral development of our students. This medal represents a commitment to excellence and to the strengthening of physical education in our schools.
