Tyrese Haliburton Suffers Achilles Tendon Rupture

The Indiana Pacers’ star player, Tyrese Haliburton, suffered a rupture of the right Achilles tendon during Game 7 of the NBA Finals against Oklahoma City, according to sources. Haliburton, who played despite a calf strain in the NBA Finals, is evaluating surgical options. The severity of the injury was evident from the moment the Pacers’ star point guard, who had been playing with a right calf strain, fell to the floor without contact while attempting to drive to the basket with 4:55 remaining in the first quarter. He immediately began to pound the floor in frustration and remained on the ground while virtually the entire Pacers team surrounded him.

Our hearts all fell.
