A’ja Wilson in Doubt for Friday’s Game
The Las Vegas Aces have listed current WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson as questionable for Friday’s game against the Seattle Storm.
Wilson has missed the previous three games due to the concussion protocol.
The star left the game in the third quarter of the June 11 game against the Sparks, after receiving a blow to the head from Los Angeles forward Dearica Hamby.
Wilson was placed in the concussion protocol two days later, after being evaluated by a doctor.
The Aces lost that game in Los Angeles and have a 1-2 record in the three games they have played without Wilson.
In the absence of Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and Jewell Loyd have taken on most of the offensive load.
Wilson leads the team in almost every statistical category, including points (20.9), rebounds (9.6), assists (4.0), and blocks (2.6).
