UFC Announces Historic Event at the White House with Free Tickets
The UFC is preparing an unprecedented event at the White House on June 14th, and has announced that it will make 85,000 free tickets available to the public. UFC CEO Dana White revealed this Thursday the company’s plans to offer this unique experience at the Ellipse in Washington. The event, called “Freedom Fights 250” in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States, will take place in the south garden of the White House.The main event will be a lightweight title fight between undisputed champion Ilia Topuria and interim champion Justin Gaethje. The date coincides with the 80th birthday of former President Donald Trump. In addition, two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira will seek a historic third belt as he faces Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship in the co-main event.There’s a park right there. We’re going to give out 85,000 tickets at the Ellipse and the tickets are free. We’ll announce soon how we’ll distribute them, but you should plan on going to Washington, D.C., for this event.
