Open Practice: Dominican Republic Opens its Doors to the Fans
Santo Domingo – The Dominican Republic national baseball team has announced an open practice to the public as part of its preparation for upcoming commitments. The initiative, which arose from a suggestion by one of the players to the general manager, Nelson Cruz, seeks to bring the team closer to the fans and foster enthusiasm.
The team plans to meet on Saturday the 28th in Miami. There, they will hold training sessions on Saturday and Sunday at the Miami Marlins stadium. This activity is part of the agenda for preparation prior to the important challenges ahead.
Subsequently, on Monday the 2nd, the national team will travel to the Dominican Republic. That same day, a second practice session will be held at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium. This afternoon practice will be open, although with limited access for fans.
To attend this practice, fans must purchase tickets at a modest price. This measure allows the organization to control access, ensuring order and the logistics of the training.
