Right guard Wyatt Teller will not continue with the Cleveland Browns in 2026, marking a significant change in the team’s offense. Teller, soon to be a free agent, said goodbye to Cleveland through an Instagram post with his wife, Carly.
Teller, 31, started 94 of his 101 career starts in Cleveland, being selected for three Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams in seven seasons. However, the Browns began rotating Teller with Teven Jenkins in a Week 13 game against the San Francisco 49ers. In that game, Teller suffered a calf injury that prevented him from playing in the following three games. He returned in Week 17, but the calf injury worsened. Days later, Cleveland placed him on the injured reserve list. In 2025, Teller ranked 57th out of 65 guards in ESPN’s pass block win rate metric and 40th out of 62 guards in run block win rate. Selected in the fifth round by the Buffalo Bills in 2018, Teller had expressed his desire to retire in Cleveland, but acknowledged the uncertainty about his future on the day the Browns placed him on the injured reserve list.While we are excited and look forward to what the future holds, Cleveland will always have a special place in our hearts.
