Towns will participate in the “The World” team in the new USA vs. The World format of the 75th All-Star Game, proudly assuming his role as an ambassador of the Dominican Republic in this prestigious world basketball event.

The player expressed his desire to share his successes and learnings, with the aim of inspiring young Dominican athletes to take the game and the country to new heights.

Despite being born in New Jersey, Towns has maintained a strong connection to his Dominican roots throughout his career. His commitment goes beyond words; the center has promoted sports development initiatives in the country, including plans for a multi-sports complex in Santiago, focused on the training of young talents.

During the All-Star weekend, Towns also celebrated the victory in the Shooting Stars as part of Team Knicks, alongside Jalen Brunson, Allan Houston, and Rick Brunson, adding another achievement to his All-Star event history.
