Publio Peláez Assumes Head of Research at the DCNB
Santo Domingo – The Directorate of the National Baseball Commissioner (DCNB) announced the appointment of Publio Peláez as the new head of investigation. The appointment, made by Executive Director Junior Noboa, aims to strengthen the verification and transparency processes in Dominican baseball. Peláez, recognized for his extensive career, will assume the responsibility of verifying the identity and age of prospects who aspire to sign professional contracts. In addition, he will supervise the academies and baseball leagues throughout the country.Noboa highlighted Peláez’s experience, who for more than 25 years led the anti-fraud department of the United States Consulate in Santo Domingo. This appointment will be made on an honorary basis. Peláez expressed his gratitude and commitment, assuring that he will put his knowledge and dedication at the service of the DCNB.Our Directorate continues to strengthen with the integration of Publio Peláez, a researcher who has a formidable track record at the North American Consulate, where for more than 25 years he led the anti-fraud department with transparency and efficiency.
