Barcelona Crushes Athletic Club in the Spanish Super Cup
In a match where superiority was evident, Barcelona, guided by Pedri’s mastery, convincingly defeated Athletic Club, achieving the biggest win in the six editions of the Spanish Super Cup held in Saudi Arabia. The final score of 5-0 reflects the clear difference between both teams.
Athletic Club, despite a promising start with three corner kicks in the first few minutes, failed to capitalize on their opportunities. The absence of Nico Williams due to discomfort was felt in the Basque attack.
The Saudi public, mostly in favor of Barcelona, enjoyed their team’s game and, especially, Pedri, who was cheered on every touch of the ball. The Canary Islands player was key in Barcelona’s dominance, initiating dangerous plays.
