High-caliber boxing had a weekend full of action in various categories. Despite some unexpected results, most boxers met expectations, although this did not generate significant changes in the rankings. In Japan, WBC world bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani demonstrated his power by stopping Ryosuke Nishida before the seventh round, thus unifying his title with the IBF. On the other hand, in Australia, Jai Opetaia retained his IBF cruiserweight crown by knocking out Claudio Squeo in the fifth round. Both boxers maintain their leadership positions in their respective divisions. Fabio Wardley starred in an impressive heavyweight comeback, managing to stop Justis Huni in the tenth round, despite being behind on the scorecards. However, this triumph was not enough for Wardley to enter the top 10 of heavyweights. Abdullah Mason shone in the main event, following the setback of Keyshawn Davis, who failed to make weight and saw his lightweight title defense against Edwin De Los Santos canceled. Mason shone by stopping Jeremia Nakathila in the fifth round, moving closer to a top 10 ranking.
Boxing rankings by division highlight the best competitors in each weight category. These rankings are updated according to recent results and performances. Boxers who announce their move to a new category will be included in that division, if applicable, once they compete in it. Those who hold titles in two divisions may be ranked in both.
Boxers who have not competed in the last 12 months, and who do not have scheduled fights, will be removed from the rankings until they fight again. Likewise, any boxer who tests positive for performance-enhancing substances will be excluded. They may re-enter the rankings after their next fight.
