The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has issued an official statement this Saturday, confirming that all Dominican players currently participating in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) are in good condition and properly protected.
The information was obtained after constant and direct communication between LIDOM and LVBP, through its president, Giuseppe Palmisano.
After contacting the different franchises of the Venezuelan circuit, he confirmed that the Dominican players are under protection and receiving the corresponding support.
So far, LIDOM has not received reports of situations that compromise the safety or physical integrity of Dominican players competing in Venezuela.
