Crown Jewel: A Detailed Analysis of the Stellar Fights
The WWE Crown Jewel event will take place on Saturday from the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. This premium live event (PLE) will be headlined by two matches for the Crown Jewel championships, both in the men’s and women’s categories.
The Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, will face World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, in one of the main matches. On the other hand, WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, will face the new Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer.

The 2025 edition will mark the first time the event will be held outside of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first Crown Jewel took place on November 2, 2018, with D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) against The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) as the main event.
Roman Reigns has participated in more Crown Jewel main events than anyone, with a total of three. His overall record at Crown Jewel is 4-1, and he has an impressive 3-0 record in the main events.
Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins: WWE Crown Jewel Men’s Championship
Cody Rhodes will seek to win his second consecutive Crown Jewel championship, after defeating Gunther in 2024. Rhodes has a 2-0 record at Crown Jewel, having also defeated Damian Priest in 2023.
In 2025, Rhodes has a 5-1 record in PLE, with his only defeat at WrestleMania 41, when John Cena took the WWE championship from him.
Seth Rollins has participated in almost every Crown Jewel, with a record of 3-3. His most recent victory was against Bronson Reed at last year’s event.
In 2025, Rollins has a 4-3 record at PLEs. His most notable victory was when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated CM Punk at SummerSlam to become World Heavyweight Champion.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Stephanie Vaquer: WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
Vaquer had his first singles match at a WWE PLE at Wrestlepalooza. In 2025, he participated in three matches with multiple participants, including the Royal Rumble, the Money in the Bank ladder match, and the number one contender Battle Royal at WWE Evolution.
Stratton has an impressive 4-0 record in WWE PLE matches in 2025. Upon arriving at Crown Jewel, Stratton will have been WWE Women’s Champion for 281 days. This will be her first match against Vaquer.
The first WWE Crown Jewel Women’s Champion was Liv Morgan, who in 2024, as the Women’s World Champion, defeated Nia Jax, then WWE Women’s Champion, to win the title.
John Cena vs. AJ Styles
Cena and Styles began their story at WWE’s PLE at Money in the Bank 2016, where Styles won. They have faced each other in three singles events: Money in the Bank (2016), SummerSlam (2016), and Royal Rumble (2017). Styles has a 2-1 advantage in those matches, but Cena won the most recent encounter at Royal Rumble, where he obtained his sixteenth WWE championship.
Cena has a 5-4 PLE record in 2025 during his farewell tour. His first PLE win of the year was in March, when he won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. His last loss was against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.
Cena has only participated once in Crown Jewel (2023), where he was defeated by Solo Sikoa.
Styles has a 2-2 record at Crown Jewel. His two victories occurred at the first two Crown Jewels. In 2018, he defended the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe, and in 2019, he retained the United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo.
Styles’ last victory at a WWE PLE was on November 26, 2022, at Survivor Series: WarGames against Finn Bálor.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane
Although Ripley will team with Sky at Crown Jewel, Sky was an opponent in three of Ripley’s five PLE matches in 2025. Ripley has a record of 0-3 in those matches. In fact, the only time Ripley defeated Sky on the main roster was when she won the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble.
The WWE’s last PLE in Perth was Elimination Chamber 2024. Ripley defeated Nia Jax in the main event to retain the Women’s World Championship.
The first Crown Jewel match for Sky was in 2022, also in a tag team match, and also involved Asuka. In that match, Sky and Dakota Kai defeated Asuka and Alexa Bliss to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed
Reigns and Reed have faced each other in three WWE matches, all at PLE events. Reigns has a 3-0 record in those matches, including their only singles match at Clash in Paris in August.
Reed earned his first victory at a WWE PLE of his career last month at Wrestlepalooza, where he and Bron Breakker defeated The Usos.
After starting the year with a 0-2 record in WWE PLEs, Reigns will seek his third consecutive victory at Crown Jewel.
