Attention wrestling fanatics! WrestleMania, the WWE’s flagship event, will break geographical barriers in 2027 by being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season”. Now, the vision of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, to take the event global is materializing.

The official announcement comes after the revelation by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, in a live Snapchat video that was later deleted. Alalshikh highlighted the importance of this alliance.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, thanks to a billion-dollar deal that includes multiple shows in the country over a decade. The next year’s Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026, marking the second consecutive time that Las Vegas hosts the event.
