WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia to Host the Spectacle in 2027

Attention wrestling fanatics! The iconic WrestleMania, known as the “Showcase of the Immortals”, will break boundaries and be presented for the first time outside of North America. The WWE’s grand event will move to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season” in the year 2027. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania had always been held in North American cities. Now, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s vision of taking the event global will come true.

This is an opportunity to show the world that WWE is a global brand that reaches every corner of the world and excites fans everywhere.

The official announcement comes a few days after Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, mentioned the news in a live Snapchat video that was later deleted.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, under a billion-dollar deal that provides for multiple shows to be held in the country over a decade. Next year’s Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026. It will be the second consecutive time that Las Vegas hosts WrestleMania.
