The city of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia, will host this historic event, as part of the “Riyadh Season” events. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has been an exclusively North American event. The idea of taking the spectacle global has been a recurring theme, and now it’s materializing.

The official announcement comes shortly after Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, mentioned the event in a live Snapchat video, which has already been deleted.

WrestleMania is already the most important date on the wrestling calendar, and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE. We deeply respect the legacy of WrestleMania and the global prestige it holds among wrestling fans worldwide.

The collaboration between WWE and Saudi Arabia dates back to 2018, with a billion-dollar deal that includes multiple events in the country over a decade. Next year, the Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s four “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026, marking the second consecutive time the city hosts the event.
